For Cinco de Mayo, Micah and I spent a good part of the day driving on the Northern side of LA... we drove through Malibu State Park - tucked away in beautiful rolling hills, then went into the city of Malibu - definitely some crazy huge homes in these parts. We stopped by a Starbucks to get some stuff for the clinic done and Micah saw the best professional big wave surfer, Laird Hamilton - he didn't go up to him, but lots of famous people here. Then, we took the PCH South, to Santa Monica - we walked along the Santa Monica Pier; at the end of the pier, they had a Mexican restaurant overlooking the ocean - which is where we stopped to celebrate Cinco de Mayo over some Coronas and the sunset! Came to Gwen's place and had a few more Coronas with her neighbors.
