The Grand Canyon is quite GRAND. Micah and I camped out for two days - each day was probably 70 degrees, with the nights getting down to the low 30's... thank God we have some warm sleeping bags because it was soooo cold! The first day, we just walked around the South Rim - looking at all the main spots and peak points. The second day we did a 6.5 mile hike roundtrip into the canyon. The furthest we went down was to the point called "Skeleton's Point" - where we could see the Colorado River and Phantom Ranch. Micah ran out of water on the way back up, so it was a little challenging, but we made it back safely to our campsite! When we packed up to leave, it was snowing!! Crazy weather!
