Mike & Julie's Wedding Ceremony & Reception

Mike and Julie's wedding reception was at the Hilton Hotel in Middleton, WI.  What a beautiful venue they chose for the reception - lofted ceilings, good food and a killer dance floor!  Most of the evening was spent either on the dance floor or in the photo booth they rented for the night!  Micah and I were so touched to be part of the ceremony and reception, but most importantly, Mike and Julie looked so happy and had an absolute blast on their wedding day! 

Mike and Julie had an absolutely gorgeous and hot Wisconsin day for their wedding on June 26, 2010.  Mike was very handsome in his tux and Julie was ravishing in her wedding dress!  After the ceremony, we hopped in the limo, took some pictures at the Capital and then headed to the Hilton Hotel for the reception.

Day of Mike & Julie's wedding - getting ready

Julie Poulsen, an amazing friend and person got married in June 26, 2010 to Michael Monahan.  We started the day at the salon, getting hair done and eating bagels.  We then finished getting ready at Julie's parent's house, where we watched the USA vs Ghana World Cup game before and after the ceremony!  Jules then had the ceremony in the backyard of her parent's house under a beautiful white tent.

Mike and Julie's rehearsal dinner was a very casual, laid back, fun night!  We played bags in the yard, helped set up the chairs for the wedding, practiced the ceremony and just celebrated with her and Mike!

Thanks to Jon Townley we were able to get out on Lake Mendota for a little tubing and wake boarding on a gorgeous Wisconsin afternoon...

Mani/pedi with Julie and bridesmaids

The Friday before Julie's wedding was another fun day... the day started with Julie and some of us bridesmaids getting mani/pedi.  We then went out to lunch, sitting outside at the Great Dane talking all about the wedding that was going to happen the next day!  Gretchen then treated us to fantastic delicate chocolates for a dessert.  

Menona Terrace & the Union in Madison, WI

The Menona Terrace (another Frank Lloyd Wright design) in Madison, WI is a wonderful place to watch a concert - so Nate, Jenna, Micah, me, Kris and Michelle went to the Terrace to sit on the roof and enjoy some music!  We then went to the Union to watch another band there and played "20 Questions", which was a blast!
