The Badlands National Park in SD has an extremely different topography than the rest of Sout West South Dakota. Very riggid landscape with scarce trees and wildlife, desert area, hills, giant ravines and valleys.... just pretty unique. We didn't get to spend a lot of time here, so we'll have to come back for a good hike.
