From Montana, we entered just the North Eastern tip of Wyoming the "Forever West" state and finally reached South Dakota. We were especially excited to get to South Dakota because we were going to camp for two days! Which means no more car sleeping... instead we got to sleep in our tent, on our air mattress that completely deflates during the night, waking up on the freezing cold grassy ground. Haha - more good times! But... it's better than sleeping in the car for the 8th night in a row! We went to the famous mountain carving of Mount Rushmore and learned a lot about the construction of the sculpture.
